Liverpool FC striker Fabio Borini enjoyed his native food at Manzo, Liverpool’s first independent Italian Grill House which has replaced Prego and sits adjacent to Chavasse Park.
Liverpool’s Italian striker Fabio Borini visited Liverpool One’s brand new restaurant and bar Manzo for its launch last night.

The striker took to Twitter to tell his 400,000 followers, “Very great meal in the new Italian place “MANZO” in LiverpoolOne!!! Thank you very much!!” as he dined out with a group of friends.
Manzo has been opened by brothers Paolo and Donato Cillo who have a passion for Italian cuisine, and have ensured the restaurant is focused on fusing quality ingredients with mouth watering recipes to deliver a menu for customers looking for a bold dining experience.
Owner Donato said, “It is great to find a home within such a unique Liverpool development and we are excited to welcome our new customers tonight to give them a preview of what they can expect from the Manzo experience.
“We have delivered a menu of no nonsense food, focusing on good quality ingredients and great flavours providing a variety of contemporary dishes with some traditional favourites.”
